Viewing Online Composites of Four Corners Calendars You can always see various composites of Four Corners Calendars by going to sites such as the Cortez Area Chamber of Commerce Calendar (click here) or the calendar on this website. Eventually there will be other composites on other websites as well. However, the best way to use the Four Corners Calendars is to create your own composite. You DO NOT have to have a website to see your own version.Residents Wanting Their Own View of Four Corners Calendars First get a free Google account. Bottom line is... get an account and create the calendar with "fourcornerscalendars" somewhere in the description. 1. Someone in the organization must have a free Google account (no different than for residents) so that they can create the public calendar. I recommend everyone in your organization have their own account. That way they can view their personal calendar, your organization calendar and their choice of all the other fourcornerscalendars combined most effectively. You can also share control of the public calendar among as many members as you like who have accounts. 2. The calendar creator will add your organization's new calendar to the calendar list on their account's calendar page. You should leave the personal calendar on the creator's account so the creator can combine their personal calendar with other public calendars like any resident. Make sure you give the calendar a name that will be easily identifiable in the list of public calendars when anyone searches for "fourcornerscalendars". Your public calendar may not show up in that search for 24 hours after being declared "public". 3. Make sure the organization's public calendar has the keyword "fourcornerscalendars" (without the quotes) in the calendar description so everyone will see your calendar when they use the calendar search for all our regional public calendars. Use the "manage calendars" function to create the calendar's description. See the sidebar links at left for more detailed "how to" information, including my personal help by phone. |
